Accommodation and Tenancy are an important part of sustaining your independence and well-being. We understand that everyone has different needs so Circle of Hope offers a range of housing options to suit you. Whether it’s shared accommodation, a private apartment or a house share, we will be there with you every step of the way to find the perfect fit. 

We offer a range of services delivered by experienced support workers, nursing staff and property managers, including:

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SIL services provide you with an independent style of living, helping you be in control over how you want to live and manage your life. We provide you with support in managing your daily tasks and personal needs so that you can feel more confident in developing the skills you need to live as independently as possible at home. With around-the-clock (24-hour) day-to-day support to people with disabilities, It can be invaluable if you require more support than your informal support network can provide, and you want to develop your skills to live independently. 

If you have SIL included in your NDIS plan, you can get 24-hour day-to-day support with: 

  • Assistance with household tasks like cooking and cleaning 
  • Accessing social and community activities 
  • Personal care 
  • Travelling to and attending appointments and more 

Residential tenancy agreement and rent is payable according to the NDIS SIL guidelines. 

Circle of Hope is here to assist you obtain alternative housing that meets your individual needs. Capacity-building assistance is also available to assist you.

We have a vacancy in our supported accommodation in Yennora. This is a 2-bedroom, unit decorated with comfortable furnishings. 

Residents receive high levels of support designed to develop and build life skills such as shopping, cooking, self-care, budgeting, and social skills. 

All residents are encouraged to be active in the local community.

Funding for this suitable rental accommodation may be possible by utilising the Supported Independent Living (SIL) options available in NDIS packages. Appropriate accommodation and tenancy assistance can also be provided. DHHS rentals supporting participants can obtain DHHS Bond Loan and Rental Tenancy Assistance to obtain sustainable accommodation.
