Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Access the support available

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provides housing designed for individuals with severe functional impairments or very high needs, making it easier to access necessary supports.

SDA usually involves a shared home with a small number of other people, though you may also live alone if that better suits your needs and circumstances. SDA funding covers the cost of the home or building, but you will usually still need to pay rent or other personal expenses. This funding does not cover the services or support you receive within the home.

If you have very high support needs, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provides purpose-built homes designed for people who need specialist and accessible housing.

At Circle of Hope, we aim to provide accommodation and support that is safe, high-quality and in a place that you can call home. Supported Disability Accommodation is all about the physical home itself, such as modifying your house to accommodate your specific needs.

If housing is one of the supports listed on your plan, you may also be able to get NDIS SDA funding to help you with the financial side of things. This would usually be because you need to live in purpose-built Specialist Disability Accommodation to receive the care you require.

Our purpose is to build housing that helps to deliver support tailored towards personal requirements.

We offer accommodation services in many locations. Whether you prefer the freedom of living alone or prefer the company of others, despite your circumstances, we’d love to hear from you and help you find a supportive and welcoming home that accommodates your individual needs.

To see if Specialist Disability Accommodation is right for you, call us today or fill out an enquiry form and one of our dedicated staff members will be able to assist you.
